Mechwarrior: Dark Age

Post by Biobod »

Ok i posted something in another topic asking some questions about what happened to the Inner Sphere and stuff...well Michael Stackpole has a webpage and he posted an open letter answering most if not all of my questions and possibly those you guys may have about MW: Dark Age(the new timeline for BattleTech for those not up to date).
Here is the link so that you can read whats happening from the man himself Mr. Stackpole.

ok if u look in the site this essay you posted is his second one on the topic. If you look on his site there is another one. And yes I am to dam lazey to get you the direct link

nowafter reading this, I found some DA useful info. First, we still have the houses, clans and mirceneries. But sounds like we have more factions/houses or whatever. Some of the characters who in our story line are yung well still be kicking in 65 years so they well make there way into the DA story line. He trys to say its the same story line just expanded, not a FAR off cry form the existing story line.

Now the only think that never got realy explained is why mechs that once built last in the IS for sometimes hundared's of years are just tossed out. Yes no war, but then use them for construction. Should not have been that hard a conversion. So well be interesting to see how the story line playes itself in this aspect.

But hey, I well not play the game, not by a long shot but they still making minies so hey classic battle tech is stil here. I well probaly grab the DA novels and see how they do. Michael Stackpole is one of my favorite writers and he has been with Battle teck a long time, So I do not think he would real kill out beloved story line as much as people clame. But again the new game pay, not for me
