Not sure as to all the details etc.....the peeps that know are hiding under rocks and such but looks like we might see some added "un-official" mechs soon!

A Marauder! Oh baby! There is a God!

If this is a wind up someone will die a slow, painfully death

If it is a fact, I'll be back driving a MAD no matter how crap the game has become. :rockin:

The rumors I hear go like this:

It's the old Mektek guys doing this, the same guys that converted/ported over all the maps etc... and made that anti-hacking progam "Mercshield" so they have the game code. This will me a "Mod" of sorts and I hear there are 20 some mechs they are working on. Could be soon or more likely 1-2 months as there seems to be a leagal hurtel here and there.

Yeah it's quite funny really. The majority of the posts out there on this, are guys who are drooling all over themselves regarding the possiblity of piloting a Marauder or Warhammer again. The next largest group, are those concerned that a third party add-on will unbalance the game. There are fears that certain mech or weapons configs could really impinge on the average player's enjoyment of the game. Some have even suggested that Folks would get disenchanted enough to quit playing altogether...

Is there any way to see the images or trailers of the mechs without being signed up to one of these sites?

If there's a Marauder, there's GOTTA be a Phoenix Hawk...

I want a Phoenix Hawk! And a Grim Reaper, damn it! And I wouldn't mind a nice Starslayer...

I never understood the XL
its sopose to be a small engine. But yet it takes up the LT, RT CT. Yet the bigger standard engine only takes up the CT. I would love to see this one explained. Maby it is lighter and smaller, but just EXTREAMLY flattened out so is very wide :D

Anyone hear any more news on the new Mechs. Since everyone else threw in their wish list, I am going to throw in a call for a Thunderbolt....the original one, that is. Built like a mountain and tough as one. I'd also like to see an Archer with working LRM rack doors.
