I’ve been playing MDK II in my spare time. I just got it back from my brother a few weeks ago. That game is hard as Fu*k. Yes , the language is necessary this time. This game IS hard and real challenging but , it’s also a cool game to play. Every time I think I’m stuck and am about ready to call it quits , I’ll come back the next day or so and find a way around the F*cked up part to get into the next level. I’m mad at this game , but I still play it cuz I refuse to be beat , And…it’s a cool game .
Robotech Freespace Mod sounds cool. Does that come complete with Roy Fokkor and Minmay ? hehe . I just touched down at this site and need more time to have a good look over. Thanks for the insight. Maybe I’ll reload my Freespace 2 after all if there is some nice mods out there , why not.

i broke out a game i had for awhile to replay, its called Hegemonia : Legions of Iron. the graphics are pretty cool with the new card.
the game is like a cross between Homeworld and O.R.B. has a mission based story line that isnt too bad.

I had Hegmonia full game awhile back. I thought it was a pretty evolving game that wasn’t worth figuring out. Something like that. I played it for awhile and got tired of it before too long. I chucked the disk
Now O.R B. was a cool one. I liked the sounds the ships made when you got their attention. I never got the full version tho. Somebody was supposed to send it my way , way back when. : )
I’m about done playing MDK2 . It was a tuffy , but I liked it. I should be done playing with that in just a few short days . Then what will I do.....

I was sitting here tonight trying to figure out what my old e-mail address was from back in 1996 when I registered Kali. I think I give up. I had sooo many of them. Well , they redid the Kali web site and said it was back in the hands of the original owner. That cool. I’ll have 30 days from tonight to fork up the big $10 to keep it active after the time period has expired.
I was checking out the Computer web sites offered in the post upgrading… That’s going to be a sweet machine. I’m not sure what I would do with all that computer power , but I’m going to build me one of them too in a few month here. Maybe it will be strong enough to operate the Mars Lander or something . Till next time.

too bad you frisbeed hegemonia.. yea its kinda involved at first till you get used to it then its ok. i actualy kinda enjoyed the in game plot to the whole thing...
to be honest, what i was looking forward to playing was homeworld 2. now that i got a system intended to support DX9. my old system always got buggy as hell as far as games were concerned when i installed DX9 before.
yea the system is pretty nice, i built it for gameing and for graphics rendering. this card does well at that so far. although it could of been faster on the rendering end of things. specialy video conversion. but then im not exactly sure where the bottle neck is. i did mess up on my ram install. it supports 128 bit channel instead of the 64 bit. but i thought i needed special ram for that, i guess i didnt. i fixed that today and WOW. the ram benchmark is realy up there. looking back i think i made a ok choice of processor and should of went with a 2800+ or something slower that could be OCed to above what this one can and maintain the same CPU tempratures. but, thats ok i guess. hehe. the one thing that seems to improve performance more then anything specialy where games are concerned is the vid card. and im slowly learning you get what you pay for in that area.
i guess all in all im going to have to be happy with this thing, its all im going to get for a LONG time..

I Had my computer for about 3 years now. I was going to upgrade last year the same time Fether was , but decided that it would hold me for awhile longer. I’m glad I waited. Now computers and parts are a lot cheaper these days.
I put Homeworld 2 on hold for a bit. I was a little disappointed with the scenario. I spent most of my time in the solar view mode , trying to keep up with the battle and organize my ships to be more combat affective from above ( especially in the last round ) I would have enjoyed it more if I could have engaged in Battle the way I like , and dragged on the battle seen more up close and personal for a good bit. But in Homeworld 2 , It’s all Hurry up and fight fight fight. I liked some of the new improvements they did to it tho. Send In The Marines ! Err Copy That , Marines are on the way … Heh.

It’s probably the wrong place to bring up this question , but , Are Ausus Mother Boards compatible with NVIDIA ? I know My old one isn’t. Well I’ll need to look into it further too see what you have running on yours to compare it with. . It’s just that I’ve seen several posts on the net stating lousy Video-In transfer with the G-Force Video Card. . I hear ATI has made Leaps and Bounds in comparison with NVIDIA these days. If your not running an Ausus MB Then NM , Maybe NVIDIA just falls short when it comes to Video in. Hmmm ....
P.S. Venom … I'd help ya out if I were still playing MW , Sorry Man. Homeworld is one of my favorite SP games of all time , that I’ve played several times. I like Caron Sa-Jet. She was a hottie. She came back in Homeworld 2 sounding a little more aged then before, but it was her. A few other members made an appearance as well. I’ll miss them guys.
II-P.S. Looks like even tho Kali offers a 30 day trial , their Trial codes wont work for me. I’ll pitch em a $10 spot soon to see what’s up with you guys . Tell Mince to hang in there. I’ll Be Back. ......

Actualy Nvidia went into makeing chipsets now too, not just video cards... like Via, etc. i havnt played around with the video in yet, havnt realy found the need to yet. but i did test out the video out. it was realy easy. you plug in a second monitor and windows detects it and in the display properties you got a box to select if you want to extend windows to that monitor or not.. pretty simple. i tested it on the TV out as well, same thing it acts as a monitor. the detail is as good as any TV can take it from what ive seen and supports 32 bit color. good for bugging the wife and playing mw4 on the TV LOL. j/k I didnt realy play around with it for long. i think i would prefer it to have both screens the same thing at one time... so i can see what its doing on the PC as well as the TV, im sure you can set it up that way, just havnt messed with it...
as to the ATI cards go, Bron seemed to realy like his the last i spoke to him.. i ALMOST got one, but they didnt have one fancy enough in this area. so i went with the Nvidia card.
man im realy getting bored with the games i got right now... even HW2. the thing about HW2 is that they throw the enemy ships at you too fast. i mean there is absolutly no time to build up a fleet to take care of buisness... i hate haveing to replay a mission 10 times or more just on the off chance i can make it threw it with a few scraggly beat up scout ships UHG.
HALO is getting a bit boreing.. there dont seem to be that many maps. but worse then that is that it seems all the team killing snot nosed back stabing cursing and cussing 5 yr olds are drawn to the game.. i mean its F*** this F*** that. this is so GAY and blah blah blah... i get tired of it after a bit. too bad it was an intersting game...
Freelancer is sort of the same way, not the cussing 5 yr olds. but rather once you been around the FL universe a few times thats about it. to be honest. i been playing tribes and have enjoyed myself alot more latly then some of the newer games out... i mean the graphic are still fairly good hehe. i should of gotten Tribes 2 ( kicks self) you would be suprised the amount of ppl still playing that game as well.
