FWIW last night shortly after we started GR, I updated my video drivers to 41.09 and did not lock up with a black screen and get the stuttering sound through my speakers necessitating a hard reboot.

re: your comment in the other thread - it is NOT just setting your resolution to 800x600, it is that in combination with all the other settings that Madrus sent in the screenshot via e-mail...
Funny, 41.09 does not allow the in game videos to work in Jane's WW2 fighters - need older version...
