Win XP tip: Shortcut to find your IP address

This is kind of cool, it works for Win XP.(Not sure about other OSs)

Make a new shortcut on your desktop of taskbar and under the TARGET line enter the following line (Cut and paste):

cmd /k "ipconfig /all && pause && exit"

Give it a name like IP ADDRESS, and click FINISH.


You run it and it gives you your IP address in a DOS box.

Pretty cool.
