Battlestar Galactica (new one)
I am almost done watching season 1 (one more episode to go) and I have been impressed greatly by just how good the show is so far. This certainly has been great entertainment for me. All of the actors are really good in their roles but a couple of them are just outstanding like the actor who plays Baltar and of course Edward James Olmos.

Yeah, I know I'm WAY behind the rest of you guys. I've been too busy watching other shows like Firefly, Babylon 5, X-Files, Crusade and Looney Tunes.VEGETA wrote:season one, man are you way behind the rest of us.

I'm kind of on the opposite end of you Panzer. I am WAY behind on watching the Babylon 5 stuff, and I am up to speed on the BSG series.
I'm almost done watching Babylon 5 Season 1 (I'm on the last disc). This is the 2nd time around trying to watch Season 1 (It didn't really grab me the first time I watched it). Now that I am actually sitting down and paying closer attention to the episodes, I want to continue through the rest of the series and see how things turn out. I have heard it only gets better, so I can't wait to watch them. My friend has all 5 seasons on DVD, so I will get through them eventually.
I still have to finish watching Space Above and Beyond on DVD. I loved that show when it was on and was bummed when it went off the air. Now I have the DVD set and will get to it eventually.

Babylon 5 is a sci fi that has lots of action and such but you relay need to pay attention tot he story lines. smiler to BSG in that respect, as its not just a sci fi, its a sci fi with a story you need to pay attention to.
and yes B5 gets relay good to be honest. First season more of less sets up the stage for the main story.

Season 1 of Babylon 5 is commonly considered by fans to be the weakest of all. There are a lot of stand-alone episodes which were not written by JMS and it shows. As with any new show, the actors were trying to get a feel for their characters and the show took a while to get its groove going. One common complaint I've heard from people is that season 1 seems to be slow and dull. For most people though, if they manage to stick through season 1 and stay with it, they will be pleasantly surprised by how much better season 2 is and seasons 3-4 are considered to be the absolute best by most of the fans.
