Nascar Racing 2003, My near crash clips

Post by Softball »

I saved the replay of my race from last night and took some screenshots from the video. I then took these screenshots, resized them to 800x600, converted them to GIF format, and then made an animated GIF movie of the near crash. I am in the Superman #27 car. :)

DL and watch the clip from here:

NEAR CRASH, ANIMATED GIF (2.6MB)

This was a quick make up of the clip, but I think I will make a small video of some more footage. I will do frame by frame, to give more of a feel of what this game is like. It is by FAR one of the best racing games I have played, very realistic.

EDIT: Here's a couple more...

CLIP 2 (1.8MB)

and

CLIP 3 (4MB)

A) I see you've got the "best line" assist on! :P
B) You know you TOTALLY ruined that guy's day!
C) And I recognized the track, because I live in Datyona :) Good choice!

Best line Assist

Post by Softball »

If I could stop long enough to read the manual, maybe I can figure out how to turn that damned annoying line off. I never really follow it anyway as you can see in my clips. :D

This game is AWESOME!! Best Nascar racing game hands down. I watched the Michigan 400 today on Fox, and I thought I was watching NR 2003! 8O

Hope you can pick it up Madrus, FIRE and I have been racing it a lot lately, very fun in MP. I have seen no lag at all and it runs smooooth at the MAX graphics settings, 1024x768x32 and 4xFSAA.

I am buying a Logitec FF wheel from PV, hopefully I will have it by the end of the week.

Logitech FF Wheel

Post by Softball »

Madrus,

I am buying a Logitech FF wheel from PV. Here is the one I am getting from him:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... s&n=507846

Pretty good price IMO, about the price of a new game.

Most of the wheels I have seen come with the pedals, so if you buy the wheel, you should get the pedals too.

Maybe we can hook up this week for a race, I'm sure Fire will join in too.

great. i am planning on getting one of those Logitech Momo FF wheels soon.

although i like this sim a lot, i think i am also going to get colin mcrae's rally 3 and crammond's f1 since i have always been more partial to rallying and formula 1. if they had one for le mans, i would be all set.
