Some musings for Friday

Post by PanzerMeyer »

It's been a slow Friday so I've just been wondering about a few issues that perplex me and maybe you guys can provide some input?

My question is this. How does the population of Canada manage to stay so low? I mean, its a country with just as high a standard of living as the US, English is spoken, its a huge country with plenty of space but yet its population is less than that of California! I dont know what the exact immigration figures are for Canada but I get the impression that they are tiny compared to the US. What's really amazing is that Canada is larger than the US but it has only about 12% of the population of the US.

Because most of it is a frozen ice ball 10 months of the year. Just like alaska....vast areas are unpopulated due to terrain and weather
