BTW all, we are seem to be short some players since some people have not accepted the invitation. Not sure that they will. If you would like your spouse or friend to join our league, I could probably arrange that. Send me their email via PM before Sunday morning and I'll send them an invite.

Well it's a live draft session. You can pre-rank your players, but there is no guarantee you'll get them of course. No offense meant SB. I know how busy you are. I'm taking courses myself and I know how time consuming it can be.

Ok, so here's the deal folks. I've sent an invite to all here, but only SB and Gator, Sabre, and myself have responded. If you plan on planning, you need to accept the invitation I emailed you before tomorrow night, say 8pm EDT. Otherwise, I'll assume you don't wish to play and I'll delete your team from the league. Hope to see you guys there.

Ok. As I expalined on Friday, if you haven't accepted the invite to play in the leauge, then I've gone ahead and deleted your team so that we could hold our draft. All is not lost. If you wish to play and can get an email off to me between now and 10:30 am, I'll resend you an invite. Also, if you wish to play, I may be able to add you after the draft, but you'll be playing with the leftover fantasy players available, obviously. Our draft starts today at 11:45 EDT.

looks like the draft moved to monday ... not just to 12:15pm ... that's gonna suck - aren't we all going to be at work? Guess I'll just have to rank the players well and hope for the best.

Well since we've had to push the draft time back, if people are still interested in playing, I have three spots left. Post here and I'll send you an invite. But please accept the invitation in the email if you plan to play.

Okay folks, I feel I should explain a few things here. The reason why the draft got pushed back was that when I examined our league schedule, we really only had four teams playing, of which two would be on "bye" the first week! Such a shallow league would've been "alright" but I don't think it would've been very exciting for all involved. So I decided to elicit some players from ESPN to fill the gaps. Unfortunately, doing so required that I reset the time. No problem, I'll reset for an hour later. Uh oH....Gator points out that it reset it for ONE DAY later at 12:15 EDT. Crap. Can't do that. The earliest I can draft in the week is Wednesday because I'm working Mon. Tues night (teaching at the university). I hope everyone can make the Wednesday night draft time. If not, the computer can pick your players for you. Just be sure to pre-rank them so you have a shot at getting decent players. By the way, I had the computer draft a team for me in another league and it actually did a pretty good job. I got some great players, so if you're not at the draft, I wouldn't fret too much. Still, it would be best if you show up.

OMG man, make up your damn mind. I woke up early for nothing, GRRRRR!!! I'm not very happy about this being pushed back, as I work during the week and won't get off work until draft time at minimum. The weekend would have been much better. Oh well. *shrug*

SB. My apologies. It really, really couldn't be helped. As I said, I tried to reset the time to later today, but still before your softball game; unfortunately ESPN wouldn't let me do that for some reason. You know me, I would've ran it today if I could have. Again, I apologize for the confusion to everyone involved here. Believe me, I was looking forward to it.

Those of you that said you would play and have dissapeared (You know who you are), you all SUCK!! You are probably afraid of failure and wouldn't be able to handle our super-awesome league anyways.

I did see something about ESPN fantasy league in my e-mail but when I opened it up it looked suspect and I did not know the sender so I canned it. I should of contacted you first (if that was you).
