Biometric Technology?

Post by Softball »

Has anyone here ever used any Biometric Technology at their workplace or is anyone familiar with how it works? I am writing a research paper on Biometric Technology and Security and wanted to find out if anyone here had any experience with it. Please let me know if you do.

Thanks,

SB

my work laptop has a finger print scaner. So can use that and it saves passwords and will only use them with that scaner sees your finger has been scaned. Its kind of cool but a little overkill.

Also when going to states they took finger prints on some scanner also kind of cool. So aparentlay al tn visas get finger printed

Ok, this is good. I will be contacting you over the next few weeks, as I have to include an interview in my research paper.

Yea, something along those lines.

Like "Do you feel like "Big Brother" is watching you?" or "Do you agree with or prefer using this technology or do you feel that it's an invasion of privacy? (Airport security, Law enforcement, etc..)"

The paper I am writing is something along the lines of the ethical and practical use of Biometric technology.

My laptop has a fingerprint scanner, don't know that it's necessary, but came with it. It's kinda cool from a novelty idea, plus it still has a password you could use instead.
