the Bethesda blog notes that SecuROM is only present in the PC version of Fallout 3 to verify the game disc. "We do NOT limit the number of installs. We do NOT use online authentication or any other SecuROM functionality except for a disc check when you install the game and when you launch the game." The post further reads, "We do not install any other programs and we don't have anything that runs in the background while you're playing the game."

Here's the answer to my own question about Fallout 3 DRM:
Silence is golden - Duct Tape is silver
played 2 hrs of single player, just assulted a small base, man that was giun drive up switch to the machine gun on jeep and blast the place. Now to kill the mercs supply. Got the shotgun and the base weapon bought but no real unlocks I know of yet but I must admit my 2 buddies are some what hot lol, well gifted with a nice rack
