Band of Brothers

Post by PanzerMeyer »

So I have one last episode to watch tonight and I'll be done with Band of Brothers for the first time ever. What an incredible series.

I just watched the episode where Easy company finds the concentration camp outside of that small German town. That was a tough episode to watch.

Ya next episode is a real shocker. You see somehow the war ends and the allies win, I mean what a traffic ending but one you never see coming PDT_Armataz_01_12 But unfortunately all of eazy company die in Hiroshima when the nuke hit except for one guy who also died but he was dumb enough to be in Nagasaki

I have watched Band of Brothers about 10 times, it's a great series. I also have a couple of books about Easy Company and Maj. Winters from the war. I'm really looking forward to the new BoB series based in the Pacific.

Well I finished BoB last night and what an amazing show it is!

The final episode was very poignant to say the least and one of my favorite scenes was of the German general who briefed his men at the airfield after they had surrendered.

Did anyone recognize that actor? He played the German colonel in "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
