I'd like to know how CA will enforce the tax or even know about the sales?

I would imagine the online merchants themselves will report all transactions to the State. People use credit cards/debit cards for online purchases so it would be easy to tie the purchase to the person.

This sounds bad for all of us. If CA dose this and starts to bring in lots of money; how long will it be before other
states try this. Goverment is goverment and they all would love to have our money. PDT_Armataz_01_19

I think you'll be safe in Texas. Texas is one of the most business-friendly and low tax States in the country.
