I shouldn’t have posted the rest. That’s all I wanted to say really. I knew softball came in to post with nothing but good intentions and I also figured this post would be taken in the wrong way. It’s just a dumb post that I should have deleted sooner

To clarify:

The linked thread in the first post refers to someone from Italy selling a copy of Steel Beasts Pro PE at a reasonable price. Kodiak, in other threads, keeps threatening to buy the sim in question. Therefore, Softball is suggesting that Kodiak buy the sim from the seller. Especially since the seller is in Europe. I don't believe it was a criticism of the post, only that it specifically applied to Kodiak.

What Gator said
. . What . . .ever . . .!!

Hey, listen up you bunch of horrible little men! I AM going to buy this, probably not this one, but one just like it! As soon as I have the cash to. However, I don't even have the spare 'reddies' for this one right now! Hence, the reason I thought I'd offer it up to anyone else incase they hadn't seen it.
falkerr - no worries mate, I hear you. These guys just don't appreciate me, is all!

I did think about getting it this past week but......I picked up City of Heroes instead. So far I have made some of the goofiest looking "Heroes" out there.

Buff,
SBPPE is your type of sim... very detail oriented, uses proper procedures and protocols, etc. i think you would like it.

It certainly looks good, and the brief videos were very welcome too. Gave a nice impression of the general atmosphere in the game.

Gone gold? I could never work out what exactly that meant - in 'production', or available for purchase?

gold means the final version...and that it has been sent for reproduction, packaging and shipping.

In other words, it's out of the hands of the developer and the producing side of the publisher--nothing they can do will alter the speed at which it comes to market now. Well, I GUESS they could recall it for some reason, but that pretty much NEVER happens.

LOL, like that means anything. Many classic games got bad reviews from people who thought the game was supposed to be something else!
