Minding My Own Business . . . . .

There I was minding my own business on Tuesday evening, I was driving the car down London road, Camberley town on our left and RMA Sandhurst on our right (yeah, down past our old house in the academy). Suddenly over our heads just above the treetops, a gazelle, a lynx, and an Apache LB (WAH-64 Longbow / AH-1). NICE!
It was only me and Darren in the car, so when I got all enthusiastic about it, at least there were no moans and groans from the girls. LOL!

A good guess would probably be a 'jolly' for the officer cadets, or a demo of some nature @ the academy.

Ah yes, to you yanks it is. But to the British Army, our AH-1 is the Apache, cos it's our first attack helo. However, for the benefit of the tape, as they say, Kodiak is showing everyone the correct page, at the correct website, and expanding on his explanation by stating the aircraft designation as:
AH Mk1

As to jolly's for officers, i heard about a group of fairly senior RAF officers who got done for using a load of harriers to boot it down to Portugal for a boozy weekend, then get back to work on Monday...legends!!

Jeremy Clarkson! The man's a true car nut. What he can do with a car in the name of fun, is legendary, and all without a safety helmet too!
Yes, a certain CO of BATUS Wksp in Canada where I was, was relieved of his command for using the local AAC flight as his personal taxi service for holidays and fishing trips for himself and 'associates' of the Canadian community!
And it wasn't me . . .cause I drive a Lexus mate, not a Lotus.
