what games do you have installed?

Post by Hammer »

i thought that is a better question than 'what games do you have'...since i know myself i have many games but not installed because i do not play them.

mine - in current order of preference

Steel Beasts
IL2/PF (404)
Falcon AF
Rome Total War
EEAH/EECH
America's Army (not playing)
BF2 - no add on (not playing)
GRAW (not playing)

these two installed for testing because i wanted to quench my WW1 flight sim desire - IL2 biplanes is more fun i think
FS-WW1
CFS3-OFF

Will also have LockOn starting Friday, along with the billion other, not-so-wings-of-fury-material-type-games; my junk sent freight from Oki is here and will be delivered then....

City of Heroes/Villains
Guild Wars: Factions (Not Playing - Massive Disappointment - Feh)
Ghost Recon (the original and still the best, dammit - uh, not playing)
Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries (not playing "It's dead, Jim.")
Megamek and Megamek.net (outdated versions not playing)
The Sims 2 + University (not playing - loved the original played it until burned out beyond all hope)
Neverwinter Nights Gold (not playing - module 'Village of Eridani' remains unfinished)
Wing Commander: Privateer (yes, that old chestnut, brought back to life)
Multiplayer Solitaire (no one else is playing)
Pong 3D: the Revenge of the Son of Pong's Grandson (yeah baby yeah)

Okay, I made those last two up. They'd be great games tho.

Panzer,
there is no way you could actively play all those games unless it was your career! you might play some of them occasionally...right?

I rotate in between those games. For example, I'll do my flight sims for 2 weeks and then I'll switch and do the racing sims for 2 weeks. I dont play all of those games on a daily basis though! I could only do that if I didn't have to work.

Oh boy, here we go. Going from memory (I'm at work), and not in any order of preference...

Operation Flashpoint
Steel Beasts Pro PE
IL-2:FB/PF
F4:AF
Lock on + FC Exp
GRAW
Battlefield 2
World of Warcraft
City of Heroes/Villains
Shadowbane
Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
Empire at War
Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War + Winter Assault (I can't believe you don't have this game Steel, it rocks!)
Spellforce 2
Wings over Vietnam
Wings over Europe
Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II
Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition
Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers

I obviously don't play these all at once, and there's a few games listed that I haven't played in a while(OFP, NWN, LOTR). This is what I have installed that I can recall.

BF2
Tomb Raider: Legends (nearly finished it though)
GRAW (thought i'm waiting for the next patch before i play it hardcore again)
Civ 4
I'm planning on getting Rise and Fall: Civilsations at War - looks pretty cool
WH40K Dawn of War plus Winter Assault expansion - buy it, buy it now!!
World of Warcraft
That's pretty much it, though i do occassionally raid my back catalogue of games for something i've already played (Homeworld 2 for example - maybe i should sell them on ebay?)

Unlike you working guys, being a student i can play these all day!! Hurrah for me :)
seriously though, i do what most do, i.e. play what i feel like at the time.

i think a warhammer 40K mod for OFP or even Close Combat would actually be really cool. much more tactical than the RTS game.
