As much as I like Pedro, and I dotn hold it against him going to the mets (I blame the BoSox brain trust that was having a melt down at that time) I did enjoy him looking dazed and confused on the mound. This might have been one of the finest examples of PysOps even rolled out in MLB history.

Is it me or is the NL getting beat on like a ugly redheaded stepchild? Just goes to show where the real baseball is played

Poor Pedro. He got a nice hero's welcome during the game on Tuesday and then he gets a rude welcome from the BoSox bats on Wednesday. :D

Hey Buffalo, you wouldn't happen to be Royals fan now would you? I notice you live in Kansas.

nope, but I did like Brett, I felt he played the game the way it should be played.

I was infected with Red Sox nation at an early age. my 96 year old grandmother still to this day drops the f-bomb when saying "Bucky F2*!ing Dent". While my moms side of the family is mainly from Texas, my Dads side is all from the Boston/Springfield/Cape Cod area. Last summer I made my 1st trip to Fenway and sat in the 1st base side club boxes and watched Big Popie drill a walk off 2 run homer against the Angles. So yah, I'm a Rex Sox fan.....long suffering.

I'm envious. I have never been to Fenway Park but I plan on watching at least one game there before I leave this world.

I've been a Red Sox fan ever since I first discovered Carl Yastrzemski back in 1978 when he became my favorite player. Jim Rice, Fred Lynn, Luis Tiant, Dwight Evans.....ah the memories.

I really appreciate the invite Grifter! I have no idea when I will have a chance to go up there though. I've been a Red Sox fan for over 20 years now and I still haven't been to a game at Fenway. Very sad...
