Madden 07 comes out next week, I'm getting the PC version. Maybe some others here will too and we can start our own league or something. :)

I've given up all hope on baseball so I now look forward to football.

Hopefully Daunte Culpepper can lead the Miami Dolphins back into the playoffs.

Jumping ship eh Panzer?

Aww come on, there's still 30 or so games left, Boston can pull it off. I still have hope for my Padres, it's very little hope, but it's something. Lol.

Jumping ship? No. I have been a Red Sox fan since 1979 and will always be one. However, that doesn't mean I cant admit that the Yankees have the better team this year. Sigh.

I was on the edge of panic when we got swept by freaking KC. I am in full blown, 5 alarm panic mode now after watching my beloved BoSox get bitchslapped by the Evil Empire. How in the F we didnt get any deals done by the trading deadline, didnt get help for the bully, didnt add to the rotation, didnt do shit.....because of money? Have you seen the average ticket price for Fenway? Try $54 bucks a ducket. Our starting rotation is in shambles, Beckett is getting rocked every start, Wells is....wel old, tired, and fat and he has no legs anymore, Wakefield is on the DL. Shill cant carry all of them. Manny has no protection, so they freaking walked him just about every time in the 5 game set. Yes, I'm a bit pissed.

NFL....yeah, my team the Cowboys are a mess and I am already sick of TO.

It's going to be a dismal Fall.

which team should I root for? I've always liked the town of Chelmsford. Do they have a rugby team?

I don't believe so, but they may have a non-league side.

Some of the big guns with a decent history and tradtition behind them:

www.leicestertigers.co.uk (my beloved tigers)
www.wasps.co.uk (the evil empire)
www.northamptonsaints.co.uk (local rivals for me)
www.london-irish.com (had a good last season - looking to build some form)
www.salesharks.com (arguably the most corporate of the premiership teams, but they won the premiership last season, so they have to have a degree of credit)
