Help with Gunship ModM8PDF testing???
The Gunship team has a new version ready for testing. We want to get this done by Monday evening. Anyone care to fly Gunship tonight or this afternoon, and maybe tomorrow evening as well depending upon how things go?

If I could solve this rotating thing I would love to have a go at getting it to work. Unfortunately I do not have the mod either at the mo - so that might take some time to d/l.
Failing that, I wouldn't mind getting together with the CGi team again - unless you have a better idea

i suggest deleteing the mods directory out of your Gunship install, and the old modm8 pdf in the Gunship directory itself as well. then extract this into your Gunship directory - overwrite anything it finds - prolly a read me.
whoever can please go through this with any time available and let me know here if you find anything amiss... read the readme! thx.
on rw 5 now - we may switch to ventrilo if all agree, so look there too.

I'm really keen to have a go with this Gunship - haven't ever had the chance to get into heli sims before - Comanche 3, 4; but I didn't see them as sims more complex arcade stuff.
Now where am i gonna find some rudder pedals that work with my Cougar? :lol:
Suppose I might find something in the Air Corps hangar at the other side of the base that I could modify - any suggestions regarding pedals would be gratefully received. Idid think that maybe I could use the Antenna Elevation controls on the throttle of my Cougar as an interim solution, what do you think? How would I implement that in the profile?

comanche games are games - not sims...
EECH and Gunship are more like sims, but both are different. Gunship lacks more avionics than EECH...
there are a couple of USB rudder pedals out there, I think CH makes one...
the ant knob might work for you - there are certainly not enough keys to fill up the cougar. not sure on the using of that in the file - i don't have a cougar. your best bet would be cougarworld at frugalsworld.com.

if any of you have downloaded and tried this, you may just be frustrated especially of you are on 2000 or XP. I redid all of the batch files today, but there are a couple of things that need to be done in addition. if you want to test, let me know and i will send you the batch files as well as give you the other fixes (a couple of minor ones) to get things working properly... let me know.
