1 TB Hard drive

Well for years you could get a TB hard drive cluster meaning several smaller hard drives connected together in one box. But this is about useless for the home user. The biggest drive today is a 750 GB drive which is still dam large but Segate looks like its going to bring out the first TB hard drive. 1000 GB of space on a single hard drive. needless to say, don't expect to fill this toy any time soon. If its available in 6 months when I make my next gaming system I may have to pony up and grab one as dam, sounds like fun
Looks like this may be a interesting 2007 with respects to new pc hardware

So another manufacture announced 1TB drive in next 3 months. Also mentions price of 400$ which compared to the 750 drives available seams about right at first. But it well come down fast like hard drives do. Hell you can buy a 500GB drive at a little over 100 if you don't mind a older generation version. 200$ the normal for a 500GB drive tho with latest tech.
