I have loved this series so figured I would note its almost here.

also while I am at it, there is a pack with ALL other C&C games and expansions that was released a few months ago. Hell lets me actuality play the original red alert again.

This is on my "Must get" list. I'm looking forward to playing it.

I have C&C Generals and the Zero Hour expansion, great game. Too bad I don't know anyone else that has it so I could play MP. The nuke explosions are very dramatic. I expect C&C3 to be just as good if not better.

They've been talking about it a lot in the various PC game mags.

Generals was the game that forced me to upgrade to my current machine. I think it well handle this new game but only because I upgraded the video card to a x800 lol.

I've never played any of the Command and Conquer games. I didn't even play RTS's at all until ST Armada came out in 2001.

Well think of all of the ones pre C&C Generals as a ground combat version of ST Armada (actuality re installed ST Armada the other week and begin playing it again single player, only game I have EVER finished single player besides C&C Red Alert). C&C Generals is still the same idea, but there are rewards and such added that make it a bit more then the others. I still think C&C Red alert was the best of them all.

I reinstalled C&C Generals last night, and at 1600x1200 resolution, it looks pretty dang good!

I played a 1v1 skirmish and the Chinese are pretty tough. They seem to like to use tank rush tactics, but patriot missile batteries and arty bunkers with missile soldiers inside of them seem to work nicely. :) Snipers make for great Arty spotters until they get this wise idea to start sniping enemy troops on their own with no way to tell them not to. I forgot how much fun C&C Generals was to play, I'll be playing this a bit more now that I have it installed.

To be honest, I never did play Generals that much, even tho I bought a new PC to do that lol. Not quite sure why as I did love the game. I do have to wonder tho how the original Red Alert looks on my new monitor lol. Think tonight I well be installing first Decade which has Generals in it onto my desk top to have some fun.
