IL2 FB...

Post by Hammer »

anyone have this or plan on getting it? with all they've added, including synamic campaign generator, it might be worth revisiting. Awesome graphics, damage models, etc. - but you WILL need rudder pedals to fly it.

I just have the original IL-2 ... not planning to get the addon yet, but i'd be interested in flying the original with anyone who wants. And it is possible to fly it without pedals ... just not very easy.

IL2 FB

IL2 Forgotten Battles is not an addon, it's a stand alone sequel. You do not need to have the original IL2 to play it.

I picked up IL2 FB a week or so ago, I just haven't installed it yet. I would love to fly MP with it sometime. It's no F4, but I'm pretty sure it will be just as fun.

The game just feels right... Sys requirements are fairly low if you do not want to crank the graphics all the way up.

I would recommend downloading the version 2 demo and trying that.

I have the demo currently, and if anyone else is willing would like to do some MP in it.

I do not have IL2, so will just be getting FB straight away. It includes everything from IL2 as well as the new content.

I got IL2 FB installed last night, and WOW!! I will be flying this for a bit on Sunday. If anyone else here has the full version, lets give it a try in MP.

SB - I think that is the issue, no one else has it yet. I think we are going to have to break them in easily... :)

Any chance you would reinstall the IL2 version 2 demo to try and get some folks up in the air?

I have IL2 but have never installed it. I would be willing to get FB if you guys are going to fly it.

I've got a P2 400, with 256MB RAM and a 128MB nVidia GeForce3. Looks like I'm barely holding on to min reqs.
