Has anybody heard about the new Halo program that the Marine Corps. is looking to impliment in about 30 years. The whole purpose is to put a sort of MEU detachment anywhere in the world within 2 hours by launching an aircraft from a secret location in the USA which will inturn hit the outside layer of the stratosphere traverse all airspace(thus not needing to ask permission to fly thru a foreign countries soverign airspace) then land in the country in question and quick deploy the 13 or so troops and equipment on the ground before you can blink your eye.
