My wifes ship is the LHD dead center in the group. The USS Bataan. They're on their way back from deployment, most probably somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic.

I never liked that name for the ship. Every time I hear "Bataan" my mind always auto fills in "...Death March."

I know. I think the same think. Bataan is actually known for other things besides the death march, but all anyone ever thinks of is the death march.
