The Rugby world cup...

..is nearly upon us. Suffice it to say that i'm very excited. And the USA and England are in the same group for the pool stages
. Whilst i anticipate a win for England (primarily due to the fact that it's a bigger sport here than it is for you guys), we're not exactly in great shape atm, and i think the US team shows some promise. Should be some good games, i'd imagine the US v Tonga should be a pretty even match. Anyway, for further info, see

Well, we've got David Beckham now so he should help out the USA a lo....oh wait, you said rugby, not soccer.

that has to be THE dumbest transfer ever. The transatlantic flight is going to do his career no favours IF he gets selected for England. Already he played poorly for England v Germany (and that's a MASSIVE game) and then flew back to play for Galaxy the following day, and i'd imagine he'd have been crap for them too. It's a shame when money overrides basic common sense.
Anyway, rugby's better than soccer

So I hear that team USA will be playing against England tomorrow?
Will there be riots if team USA happens to win?

erm, yes...the streets will run red with blood and everything...the prediction is about a 40 point margin (for those not in the know, the point score system is 5 pts for a try (TD), 2 pts for a conversion (FG), and 3 pts for a penalty kick (penalty FG), which tbh i think we should be looking to achieve. That said, if rugby takes off in the US, i think your team will be pretty good due to the facilities and potential funding. Also, i can see you guys operating a similar national academy system to New Zealand (the best team in the world atm, and usually ranked top 3 minimum), whereby they offer the parents of promising players from the Pacific Islands financial benefits etc to immigrate to NZ so their kids grow up to play for the NZ national side.

final score, 28-10 win for England, but tbh, the USA take away the moral victory. England were absolutely awful, and i thought the Eagles played pretty well.
