i am going to an airsoft event this weekend so will not be around. i am prepping all of my gear this week so will not likely be online for any gaming either. we are leaving early Friday morning and returning Sunday evening.

Essentially, he is. When I set up my Paintball gear to go play it usually takes about two days, especially in the beginning of the season. However, I have not played in a few years since money has been so tight. I imagine Airsoft requires just as much if not more prep. Have fun Steel. :-)

plus i only play occasionally at large games that are quite a production, so prep is needed including pre-game chain of command commuications, etc. so i have to go through everything. not to mention an RV so Nidia and the dogs can come along for the weekend. and this is a Vietnam reenactment, so special gear and uniforms.

Hehe, so Nidia is coming along huh? What a great wife you have Steel. :-)
So Vietnam huh? Will you be American army, Marine or maybe Vietcong or NVA?

I am XO for the US/ARVN forces. Our CO is Col. Paul Longrear. He is a pretty cool, unconventional, get it done guy.

Retired Col. Paul Longgrear (Battle of Lang Vei) is a scheduled speaker during the ceremony. Longgrear started his military career in 1965 as an enlisted man, attaining the rank of Buck Sergeant. Col. Longgrear is Airborne, Ranger, Pathfinder and Special Forces qualified. Col. Longgrear served two tours in Vietnam,and was awarded the Silver Star,four Bronze Stars with "v"(for valor), three Purple Hearts, and two Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. In 1968, as a Special Forces Lieutenant, Longgrear and his six man team were recipients of one of the fewpresidential unit citations awarded. Captain Longgrear was later awarded the prestigious German armyshooting badge and sports medal for his performance while working with the German army. As a field grade officer, he spent most of his career in counter terrorism as a consultant to civiliangovernment agencies and as an instructor for 2nd army units. His area of specialty is the Mid-East, although he has traveled extensively in other parts of the world including the former Soviet Union and China. His last military assignment was in Central America. Colonel Longgrear retired in 1991 with 36years total service.

Have fun bro , it sounds like fun. All except filling up that gas guzzler RV. Is that a motor home or a smaller 4 door? Heck man with the way things are going im about ready to sell my RV this weekend, got a nice offer on it =) Okay I’ll leave you alone to get some finale packing in. Lets be careful out there.
