I couldn't pass up this deal, and I decided to take the jump. Here is what I got:

Sharp - AQUOS 42" 1080p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV ($1,589 In Store Price)

and this was FREE with the purchase of a SHARP HDTV:
Sharp - AQUOS Blu-ray Disc Player with 1080p Upconversion ($500 Value)

One thing I found was that HDMI Cables are HELLA expensive ($100+ each). DAAAAMN!!!! I REALLY like the new HDTV, and the Blue Ray player is a sweet addition. I know, I know, it's not a PS3, but it was free so I'm not complaining. BTW, this Blue-Ray player can upconvert DVDs to 1080p :D. I will also be hooking my X360 up to this HDTV, I can't wait!

Thanks Veg, I am definitely going to be returning the ones I bought. The first reason being that I was not very observant and bought 4ft cables. I need at least 6ft cables. And now that I see I'm getting ripped off, I'll be checking out the cables at Newegg for sure.

Nice. I think you got the same TV as me. K and I bought it at the beginning of the Football season and we're so happy with it. Awesome picture quality, vibrant colors and crystal detail. Ours is slightly smaller, but it fits the corner in our living room perfectly. I think you'll really, really like yours.

I saw some HDMI cables online somewhere for about 5 or 6 bucks (I can't remember the footage) but they were a decent length. Of course depending on what you are connecting to the price changes somewhat but not that much.

do note for 5-6$ its most likely not gold plated which for a few extra bucks is worth it, not required but nice to have. Also stay away from non brand names for cables as they most likely lack things like shielding or simple things that could lose quality. But even Brand name cables can be found on newegg and other good sites and electronic stores for good prices.

I got the Panasonic BD player that's got the 1.1 profile. That weekend I got TEN free BD movies, the same 5 free fro Sony plus 5 in-store from BB. It was a bit of an issue that the store was low on BDs due to the promo, but I still found 5 good ones. Too bad the choices from Sony aren't all so good. I'm getting a couple I would NEVER pay for only because they're A) free and B) were better than the others in that column!

As for LCD, I will go that route once they make a 65" that's a decent price. Not willing to drop from my 65" DLP in size just for that.

I saw Target selling an Olevia 65" LCD for $4500, but I'm not willing to go there yet.
