Ok will I saw the movie today. Topical Rambo, lots of killing, shooting and explosiuves. More bloody the the previous ones but basically they showed the true effect of a 50 cal hitting a body, but unlike SAW fro example, it was bang, move to next scean. No dwelling on a body ir crap like that. Think say Saving Private Ryan style. but overall a decent movie to see lots of action and guns. If you like to see a pure action movie then this one is for you.

I saw this today, wasn't "too" bad. Some of the acting and purpose of the movie was cheesy, but I enjoyed it for what it was. (For example, unarmed medical personel wanted to go into a Genocide ridden war zone (Burma) and not expect any resistance) Lots of blood and guts (literally), but the scenes went by so fast, you only got a glimpse of the blood and guts. The scene where he takes over the .50 cal was, well, gruesome and jaw dropping. It was the defining "Rambo moment" in the movie for me.

I was listening to a radio review of "Rambo" and they were pointing out some Rambo movie stastics. They said that Rambo killed something like 86 people in the new movie, and 235+ people total were killed throughout the movie. Not sure how true this information was, but it was a lot and I didn't try to count the kills. Another interesting stastic was that in the first Rambo movie, Rambo only killed one person. Hmmmm...

Overall I enjoyed the movie for what it was, a pure action flick. I like how Rambo portrayed himself, not revealing his past or who he was. He was very mysterious to the cast members, but we as movie goers know what he has been through. I was a tad bit disturbed at the packed theater clapping and cheering when all the killing was going on, but hey I guess that's what people want to see and expect from a Rambo movie. Maybe they were just happy the Stallone is back. *shrug*
