Operational Capabilities in Hostile Urban Environments. CSAR aka ( C- SAR ) = Combat Search And Rescue. Something my nephew is going to do next week , in the sand since he’s really shipping out this May. He said it was a simulation where the Navy Seal team was coming for him after a simulated crashed Black Hawk , he needs to keep an eye out for hostiles as well as the CSAR team. We fired up a big conversation about this as to where and what is to be expected as well as camouflage and so on. Anyone know some CSAR Tips? I’d like to think of something good to say but this is no Ghost Recon. I’ve never been..

Thanks that’s good advice. I’m going down there to his place this weekend and check out his apartment. It's a few blocks away from the shore with a cool view. He's an E4 and makes good $ for his age. Then he’s going to give me a tour of the navy base and take me on a simulated Blackhawk helicopter ride. He said it looks like a box on the outside but on the inside it’s a 2 seater with a few joy sticks , all the controls and a heads up display.

Then were going to check out an Aircraft Carrier that’s in port there. I think they allow civilians to check out the mid ship and the engine room , but not up the flight deck. Still tho , it’s going to be cool. After that it’s off to pier fishing on a privet pier there at the base. H e said he has a new crab net he wants to try out and I’d like to try out my new sea water fishing rod. A few cold ones and it’s back to his place again for a BBQ. Woot!
