The shows that are shot in Canada are shot there because the production costs are cheaper and not necessarily because they are good shows!
Anyway, I'm not very optimistic about this show since Moore and Eick said that this show will be like "Dallas" or "American Beauty". I dont think most viewers on Sci-Fi Channel want that.
