I thought the opening episode was great and I was blown away by the opening space battle. I'm most anxious to see how Baltar's little cult following of hot babes will eventually turn out.

And obviously, there is a lot of confusion and mystery surrounding Starbuck right now as her shocking behavior at the end of the episode further confirmed but I'm confident it'll all be explained as S4 progesses.

I guess no one has seen the episode except me.

I watched bits and pieces of it, I'm confused as to what the hell Starbuck is up to. I will re-watch the entire episode when I get the time.

Is it just me or did some of the CGI of the Galactica and other ships look less "believable"? They looked washed out, distorted, and the camera angles seemed odd. Something was different IMO.

You can watch the episode online Softball. Just go to Scifi.com and then on the right hand side is something like "Watch full episodes of BSG". I watched it for a second time that way on Saturday. :-)

As for the picture quality, it may have something to do with your cable provider. I noticed that my picture looked a bit compressed and fuzzy but I think that's due to the cable signal and not any CGI stuff that was done by the studio.

As for Starbuck, let's just say that she's really screwed up right now. :-)

Well, I'm watching it through my HDMI cable, using a HD digital cable box on my HDTV. Other programs on the Sci Fi channel look fine, I just noticed it on that BSG episode. Not sure what the deal was.

As for Starbuck, let's just say that she's really screwed up right now. :-)

Well, Baltar is very intelligent, suave and well spoken so it's not surprising that he gets the hot babes.

Just finished watching this episode and it seems to be giving more questions than answers that's for sure, cant say i spotted any problems with Galacticas CGI rendering though.

One hell of a battle at the start.

Did anyone notice how that extreme close up shot of Sam's eye resembled the same shot from Blade Runner? :-)

well it clicked when that raider scanned him....so we KNOW he's a cylon

Starbuck...well....either she went down the rabbit hole (eye of Jupiter) or she died and is a cylon plant. The showroom clean fighter she showed back up in is troubling...who knows at this point.

overall a great start to the end.

Well I sm betting the 4 people are cylons, I don't think starbuck is one, right now it just would be to easy. and yes its a religiouls cult thats willing to PLAY with baltar lol, lucky bsastard.

Uh, of course Tigh, Sam, Tory and Tyrol are cylons. That was all revealed in the finale of season 3. Silly goose!

um heard the rummer going around 1 or 2 of them may not be cylones but are being screwed with by cylones which again would be dam cool

Uh yeah, I'd call that a totally unsubstantiated rumor. I highly doubt its true.

Well if you watch the opening title guys, it says 12 CYLON MODELS, 7 OF THEM ARE KNOWN! it shows you the seven known Cylons then it says 4 ARE IN HIDING it then shows you the the four people revealed at end of season 3 Tai, Chief, Sam and the other girl thats the presidents Aide (can't remember her name)and it then says ONE WILL BE REVEALED ie the one still unknown so we know for sure that the four at end of season 3 are Cylons.

So only one more to be found and at this point even with Starbucks behaviour as far as i'm concerned it could be anyone but the reaction of the Cylon that saw the remaining Cylon in the temple says to me that it's someone very important.

On another note, Boomer really annoys me as a character, she Really needs a slap that one.

Excellent point Nemisis. Oh, the Indian cylon girl's name is Tory and it's actually spelled "Tigh" and not "Tai".

Oh, and I checked online and Ronald Moore was indeed quoted as saying that the 4 revealed cylons from the S3 finale are indeed definitely cylons so there's no debate there.

At this point all we can do is wild speculation. We need to wait until some more clues are hopefully revealed as season 4 progresses and then maybe we can have a better guess.
