Well I might not see much of my tax return money since other priorities will prevent me from putting that cash towards luxury items. But by the end of the summer, I would like to make a key purchase. What would you do?
[s]Upgrade my system.[/s] (Going to wait on this one. Got a new GPU to fend off inevitable).
Upgrade my monitor
Get an external HD for storage
Get a larger iPod since I'm using my iPod so much.
Get a laptop for work in the living room.
Right now I'm having real trouble deciding. Ah sheesh.

#1 in your list would be my top priority.
Concerning the laptop, you dont get one from your school district?

ahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahahah! from my district???!!!!! hahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahhh! Stop it, you're killing me. AHhashahahahahahahahahahahahahah.
I don't know why I listed my system there. I should'nt have. I bought a GPU to squeeze one more year out of this baby. hmm. what would you choose next. I'm leaning toward monitor or laptop. I can sort of get by with the ipod I have and I can back up my MP3's gorilla style on cdrom burns. I love the idea of having a neat external hd to hold all my stuff, but eventually it will die and I will lose all my stuff. So I'm thinking cdrom burns are still the best answer for me. Would you go with the monitor or laptop? hmm. (Laptop can serve as a backup mp3 storage too since it will be purely for work). arrrggg. <---pain.

actually my current iTunes library spans 3 dvds
Depends on what you want more....a external drive is $150 a lcd screen for a 22" will run about $350 and a lapper can run from $800 to $2k depending....so...
What do you want more?

Well I got DVDs so i think I'll store my iTunes library on them. The laptop is a pure workstation, and as such I think I can get the price a bit lower than 800. The 22" monitor is about $230. I'm kind of caught between the laptop and the monitor. Which to choose? This is going to take more thought I think.
