yep I had the game on XM last night, cuz I couldnt get the damn thing on MLBTV.Com for blackout reasons (KC) and while the game was supposed to be on fox-midwest.....it wasnt so I fired up XM and listened to it. a few friends who are KC fans were calling from the 7th on...butdamn if I was going to pick up the phone and even talk about the no-no....hell I didnt even want to think about a no-no and thus jinx it.

Great story, and looks like a great kid.....you realize that 4 of the last 5 no-no's have been thrown by kids under age 25?

What I've found surprising so far this year is how well Tampa Bay is playing and how poorly the Yankees are playing.

well the Yanks just need to pass around the golden banana hammock more.....yes the greasy one, Giambi, has a golden thong that they pass around to guys in slumps, kinda like the garter belt in bull duram....but Giambi is so nasty looking like hes in a perpetual sweat, that I wouldnt touch anything he actually wore with a 10ft pole and a hazmat suit.

The rays are going well now but I dont think they can sustain that output for 164 games, and now that Bostons bats have woken up, I dont see Boston geting challenged for the top of the AL east.

Yes, they are doing horrible in the offensive department this year. At least their pitching isn't half bad.

I watched the replay highlights of the no hitter, and it looked to me like the defense got the no hitter. They made some great plays to help Lester get the no hitter.

Have any of you ever witnessed a no-hitter in person? I am happy to say that I have. I watched A.J Burnett (Florida Marlins at the time) no-hit the Padres at Qualcomm Stadium. I have a picture somewhere of the scoreboard (I'll see if I can find it). They are a very rare occurrence, and I just happened to be there. Even though the Padres lost that game, from the 8th inning on, the whole stadium was rooting for Burnett, it was amazing to watch.
