there are 2 reviews but bottom line yes it faster then that GX2 9800 (dual 8800GTS g92 card in one case basiclay) and less power requirements but its not a huge amount faster. I would not be running out and buying this thing right now its just to expensive for what you get but same could be set when the 8800GTX hit markets. but for now for 450$-500$ range you can get the GX2 9800 factory overclocked meaning faster then test models used. It is defetaly the card of the future but if you have say 1 8800 for example and a SLI capable motherbord go get another one and you are better off then dropping the extra cash on this one for example. If buying a new system still worth looking into sli 2 boards or a GX2 instead for some cash saving. But if you want the fastest price be damed for a new gaming system, this is it buys and girls.

650 is way too much for me to spend on a video card. I like having the top of the line or at least close to it but the most I've ever spent on a video card is about 350.

well 450$ is what I spent on 2 x 8800GTS G92, basiclly same care as the GTX 9800, thats just overclocked version, and 2 together same as the GX9800. But 500$ would be my max mark as much above that the cash dose not represent the gain you get.

If anything, I'll be upgrading my cpu first. I only have a Duo Core E6600 (2.4 ghz) and I want to get the 3.0 ghz version.

45nm 3ghz cpu is about 189.99$ on new egg. The 3.13ghz 269$ so 3 ghz the way to go. If you want quad core get the q9450 45nm with 12mb l2 cache which is 339$ range. Its a 2.66 ghz chip and is what I am running tho note most games can't use it, only a few out there that can. Tho I do more then game so I got one lol.

Thanks for the recommendations but I wont bother with quad core for now. I'm pretty much going to get the 2 ghz cpu from Newegg. 189.99 is a great price. Is that the 755 chipset by the way? That's what my mobo supports.

it is 775 but make DAM sure the board also supports that 45nm chip as well as some boards don't at all and some needed bios updates to take them.
