First is 20 ish years before the other 3 which are basically a set.

Michael A. Stackpole started out okay. He’s alright if your into drawn out propaganda and politics with a little action kicker.

Finished the first of the 3, the library doesn't have the prequel. I have found it pretty good. Looking forward to reading the others. Thx Veg.

I highly recommend finding the prequal novel, it explains some of the main characters and how things very well and is a good story in its own right.

Kinda figured the prequal would be good to have, looks like the library system had several copies at one point. Must have been good enough for people not to return. Will have to get the wife involved. She knows how to get them to order books from libraries outside our library system. But still have the other two books to read.

I usually just buy my books, I sometime read 1/2 a book then never touch it for a year other times read 4 books i series in a week.
