You have to look quick but this has to be some of the best footage from the HUD.

Mid Air refueling? Looks more like de-fueling.

What of the responding posters says that it's bogus footage. That the F-15 was supposedly put into the footage. Don't know how you'd do that. In any case, the poster claims that the footage is actually of two F4 Phantoms colliding side to side. Shrug.

well they would be wrong....no idea what the hud is in but that is most defiantly a f-15....pause at 3 seconds in and look....large delta wing wide elevators and a flat ass.....F15 all the way

also he calls the mayday, fire, and calls a position mark.

after watchign it a few times I think he is on a differnt target and the F15 flys between them, you can hear the sidewinder growling and the hud is in IR mode

its real and hopefully he got out.....and several million dollars of taxes ended up as a fireball

Mid air collisions suck.

Oh, I don't disagree Buff. I recognized the F15 configuration immediately and it is clearly a mid-air collision. I was just reporting what the poster claimed and was a bit confused by his assertion, which seemed strange. Why would anyone alter the footage? oh well.

Have seen this vid before and a slightly longer version of it. Can't remember where or when, but recognised it straight away and it is genuine from what i can tell. I believe the footage i saw started earlier and you can see the F-15 very quickly in the distance at start of footage. looked real nasty. Definitely time to get the hell out!

Yeah, I'm surprised he didn't punch out right away. It' s pretty clear that he was just in a mid-air collision and his craft is irrecoverable. I mean, if you're sitting around long to report you airplane is on fire? Wow. Must've fell back on his training in that instance.
