My Dad is Retiring from Boeing

And tonight we had his retirement dinner, with a lot of people he has worked and flown with over the years. His boss got up and started reading aloud my dad's resume, some of which I did not know until tonight....
Yes i am proud of my dad, and I figured I'd share with you guys here how my dad spent his life professionally since he graduated college in 1965...
1965 Graduated University of Oklahoma BBA Marketing Research/Industrial Management.
1965 Entered Air Force pilot training UPT (Undergraduate Pilot Training)
1966 Graduated Air Force pilot training UPT and entered F-100 training
1967 Completed F-100 training and gunnery school Cannon, AFB / Luke, AFB
1967 Deployed to Vietnam, 100 missions F-100
1968 Had ME! ok so I added this one
1968 Entered B-52 training as a co-pilot B52E and F
1968 PCS (permanent change of station) Carswell, AFB 7th Bomb Wing B-52F
1968 Deployed to Anderson, AFB, Guam. Flew ARC LIGHT (code name given to the use of B-52 strategic bombers in Southeast Asia) 6 month tour B52F.
1969 PCS to Pease, AFB. Deployed Anderson, AFB, Guam. Flew ARC LIGHT 6 month tour B52D.
1969 PCS to Cannon, AFB FAC lead in course T33, BT33, AT33
1970 PCS to Eglin, AFB OV-10 School.
1970 Deployed to Vietnam OV-10 FAC (pilot/IP)
1971 PCS Castle, AFB. B-52 pilot training B52E and F.
1971 PCS Dyess, AFB, B52D Pilot.
1971-1973 Deployed ARC LIGHT for four (4) 6 month tours B52D. Became a B52 IP (instructor pilot),ABC (Airborne Command Pilot), VIP pilot, Lead pilot on 6 Linebacker II missions over Hanoi.

Hes planning on actually staying retired for 60 days and then doign contract work for Boeing and will remain on the In Flight Emergency team until they can find someone who know the B52 as we ll as he does or they retire the airframes......which isnt goign to happen any time soon.
