I heard a song on the radio today with a pretty good beat to it. The DJ announced that it was called "Bleeding Love" by Leona Lewis. I did some Google searching on her and found a few videos. She's a very good singer IMO. She won first place on a show called X-Factor in London (Similar to American Idol in the US). I just might have to pick up her album; she's not bad looking either. ;)

X Factor is the current British version of American Idol. In fact we had POP Idol over here before you had American Idol it got changed to X factor after the first year but the show is the same thing, and all owned by the infamous Simon Cowel.

Leona Lewis was the winner 2 years ago as you stated. She was hailed as a Maria Carey and Whitney houston Cross and was expected to be just as famous.

The song you mention was release along with her album last year at the start of last years X Factor and she had been basically unseen since she won. They took a whole year to get her ready for her new career before they released her Album where as all other winners so far have had there albums released within a couple of months of winning.

If you watched the whole season that she was competing in you would be gobsmacked by how good a singer she was, and I am sure there is plenty of clips of her weekly performances on the show on youtube. She just got better every week and her voice was amazing!! Pitch perfect. She is as good as Maria and Whitney trust me.

On a background, note she used to be a humble receptionist before she entered X Factor, which is a program me and my wife never miss as it is so funny watching all the deluded wannabies that have absolutely no talent, go nuts when the judges tell them so.

Yea, I have watched all of her clips on Youtube.com from the XFactor show. She is absolutely amazing! She is by far a better singer than any of the American Idol winners from the last 7 years. She actually performed on American Idol last season as a guest singer, I had no clue who she was at the time.

More videos from XFactor. I have NEVER seen anyone sing Whitney Houston songs as good as Leona Lewis. I actually think she sounds better than Whitney Houston.
