Actually, all three of these actors were offered the role but they turned it down.

I could see Kurt Russell as Han Solo.

Same here. Russell has that intensity about him which would have been perfect in the role.

Will Smith said in an interview that he declined the role of Neo because he wanted to do "Wild Wild West".

Anyone remember the SNL skit when Kevin Spacey was host? He did an AWESOME Walken/Solo impression. Also did Walter Matthau as Kenobi.
