Congrats!
A guy I work with is a huge Boston fan, and he is hoping for a Dodgers vs. Redsox World Series so he can go to all of the games in LA.

A Dodgers vs Red Sox WS would get HUGE tv ratings. Mark my words.
It will have huge ratings because both LA and Boston are big markets, both teams get tons of press coverage and because of Joe Torre and Manny Ramirez. How much you want to make a bet that the sports commentators will talk non-stop about how this could be Joe Torre's and Manny Ramirez's chance to get revenge on the Red Sox?

Me thinks the Rays may have something to say about it.....my prediction.....Sox in 7 with 3 extra inning games.....and 2 benches clearing brawls....

How boring would a Rays vs Phillies World Series be? *yawn*
Let's hope the Red Sox and Dodgers can pull it off.

And my poor Chicago Teams, cubs vs. red sox would have been a big draw, but a subway series cubs vs. WHITE SOX (can you tell I love my Sox) would have been big big headache that I would have taken a imprompt to out of state vacation for. Man they would have to commit the city to marshall law.

The Bears are trying there best not to make it to the playoff's, did anybody see that loss to the Falcons? That game was a lock but they had to go to the cover2 and the falcons had to exploit the one weakness of that cover2. The outside seams have always been a problem with that defensive scheme, all of football knew it but most people didn't but now everyone and there mama knows.

Hey, shouldn't you guys start a new thread? Since Boston has dropped two straight, you should either rename the thread or start a new one. Redsox who? Go Rays!

The Sox will be tying it up 2-2 so I'm not worried.

I have to say, the Dodgers vs Phillies NLCS has been VERY entertaining to watch.
I would like to see a Dodgers vs Boston World Series, but it appears that the underdogs are pulling ahead.

How can you think the Rays are underdogs? They won the AL-East and have a regular season winning record against Boston?????

The Red Sox are the defending champs, thus why I feel the Rays are underdogs. They will have to overcome the Red Sox to get to the big dance. Yea, the Rays won the division and have the better record, but with their in-experience and Boston's "experience", they are still underdogs IMO.
I will say this, the Rays have certainly brought their hit sticks to Boston, 22 runs in two games, wow!! In-experience has obviously not affected them.

I guess the Sox have the Rays right where they want them ... up 3-1. Isn't this deja vu for the sox?
