neither do i, but i know the opposition has 3 'financial advisors' working for him that were forced to resign from fannie mac or related for cooking the books to get better bonuses. ;)

Yeah but the vast majority of his supporters wont bother to find out about that or they dont care. They dont want the pristine image of their "messiah" besmirched.

SNL spoof of the V.P. debates. Getting on Palin about her referrence to Joe Six Pack and using the term Maverick until it just sounds plain stupid.

Sigh whatever. I'm sick and tired of the republican rhetoric. Walk in my shoes for a school year and then come talk to me about the wonderful republican party.

Personally, I don't like either candidate, but come to think of it I never really do. Neither one is particularly trustworthy in my opinion, but at the end of the day I have to vote for who I consider the lesser of two evils. It's funny that in a country such as ours we can't do better than Obama or McCain. Honestly, these are the best candidates we could come up with after eight years of SNAFU incarnate? Are you kidding me? I consider myself a moderate democrat, more conservative than most actually. If I were King things would be different, but since that won't happen I'll just have to suck it up and vote for the guy who is most likely going to help me and my family. I wish education wasn't so immersed in politics, but it is and I don't have the luxury of pretending otherwise.

With respect to those here that clearly disagree- I will not vote for McCain. During their last debate, I thought McCain's behavior was disrespectful and irresponsible. I don't have any respect for someone who pretends to engage in intellectual debate but then resorts to sophomoric, even childish remarks rather than resting his case on the validity of his arguments. Being snive doesn't impress me, and it's too bad that McCain felt it was necessary. He didn't look presidential. In the next few weeks, I'll be reading the platforms of both candidates to determine who I will ultimately vote for, but after what I saw and heard the other night, I'm pretty convinced it won't be McCain.

So explain to me in some detail why your profession as a teacher will suddenly be better if Obama wins?

To all the wannabe Dem's or Repub's who really has who's back? They have each other's and the rest of us will rot if they had their way. I really don't trust any of them but I say hey 400 years of fair skin in office why not get a little tan up in there. After that performance we were forced to watch for the past eight years it can't get any worse.

OH! Did you guys enjoy our government flushing 700 billion down the toilet, I'm sure several of you will agree when I say they could have given 200,000,000 people over the age of 18 85 billion at about 420k per person taxed that at about 30%, 70% give or take of that 85 billion will be paid back on the spot and then hope that everyone who received that money will do whats right and pay their mortgages, bills and credit down thus helping to solve the financial crisis. I know most of you will say ummmm we would just piss it away, well my response is we stand a better chance of some of us the people doing what is morally right with that money than the bastards at AIG, Freddy Mac etc. will ever do.

Whoever is in office will have the awesome opportunity and burden of fixing or being ultimately blamed for this fiasco when we all know who is the real culprit and hell he or she is a unknowing unwitting unwilling culprit at best.

Before I end this I have to ask: Where in the hell did that extra 700 Billion come from anyway? Yes ultimately the tax payers but come on do these guys really think that if we keep printing money everything will be fine?

Panzer are you a Republican and if so are you sitting on that much money that you can really say that I am a full fledge Honest to God Republican or are you one of the dreamers like I am with Democrats? Just wondering, I know this will ruffle some feathers but I say what the hell, you only go around this world once make sure your remembered.

Panzer if your not making mid to high eight figures then in reality your a Republican dreamer like I am a Democaratic dreamer. I dream of being able to truely walk with shoulder to shoulder with them but in reality we are nothing more than a collective stepping stone on their way up the political and or corporate ladder. If you really think the Repub's or the Dem's believe in us everyone is sadly mistaken. I am willing to die for this country its people and what we stand for individuality, but I wouldn't give a tear for the people who run it. they just don't deserve that much respect.

I do agree that our political system is broken to some degree and the influence from lobbyists is much higher than I'd like it to be but I still believe in choosing the lesser of two evils when it comes to elections. ;-)

This is so true but how can we really know who the lesser of two evils are anymore. They all say one thing and do another. My vote will go to Obama, I think he is a refresher to the status quo that has been going on plus like Grifter I did not like McCains tactics in the last debate, stand on your principles and let them win the day.

Both Obama and McCain have dodged questions and not given straight answers. Remember when Obama was asked about abortion a few weeks ago and he basically responded by saying that the question was above his pay grade?

For me, if it was a choice between McCain from 8 years ago and Obama, I'd choose McCain. However, the election is between current-day-McCain and Obama. McCain is not the same man as he was -- I lean toward Obama in this year.

remember the 2nd ammendment. watch out for its demise if you voite democrat. one of the key events that put the 2nd ammendment in happened in Boston before the official revolutionary war. do some research on General Gage and Boston. it may surprise you.

also remember that the first step in controlling the populace is to control their weapons. you can not fight back, for what you believe in or protect your family if you can not arm yourself.

also the first step in the true big brother, controlling govt. may have just happened. the fed anounced it is going to buy shares of the banks.
