I noticed that some of you here are a bit older than me so maybe some of you saw these shows when they originally aired?
Space 1999
UFO
Battlestar Galactica
Buck Rogers
Dr. Who
I remember my dad and I religiously watched BSG. I think we pretty much watched every episode. I did watch Dr. Who and Buck Rogers off and on.

Never got to watch Space 1999, it was on a channel we couldn't get out in the boonies of rural Kentucky. ABC, I think.
I remember
UFO being kinda like Thunderbirds with Live Actors. Well, at least in terms of special effects. IIRC the show was about a clandestine offensive against aliens who breathed blue liquid. At the time I really liked it.
Battlestar Galactica was cool the first few episodes but got repetitive (how many times can we re-use this shot? How about INFINITY!) and silly very quickly. Remember the cylon gun fighter?
Buck sucked, even though it had a
hawt chick.
Dr Who - I thoroughly enjoyed the few Tom Baker episodes I got to see in the afternoons back in the late 70s. I bought several of the novelizations of those story arcs (didn't always get to see them all the way through). Then it went away and I didn't see any more Dr Who until he showed up on the Sci Fi channel a couple of years ago.
I enjoyed watching syndicated reruns of
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and the original Star Trek after school in the mid-70s.

Well , we were poor white folks when I was growing up. So besides my army men and hot wheels , all I had play with , or do , was watch TV until my older brothers and sister came home. Then I had to put up with more Nancy Drew or some of The Partridge Family. Star Trek. I didn’t mind so much. Kirk , James T , almost had the same name as myself.
Mostly watched :
Six Million Dollar Man: Colonel Steve Austin
Twlight Zone
The Outer Limets:
Wonder Woman: ( Best part of the show was watching Cathy Lee spin around. )
Space 1999: Was awesome. I got the DVD box set and realized that the first season was the best. After that it gets boring real fast. Maya was able to change into anything. Even a rock. They even changed the intro. It just wasn’t the same after the first season.
The Incredible Hulk: David Banner , Nice man till you piss him off.
Big BSG fan: Great flick , to bad the ending always sucks.
Buck Rogers: Of course , The show had a good intro. Though I mostly tuned in to see what Erin Gray was wearing. Another tighty.. ?
Land of The Lost: Rick Marshall, son Will and younger daughter Holly who are trapped in an alien world inhabited by dinosaurs,
Planet Of The Apes: Eh , the series sucked.
I cant say I remember Dr. Who or UFO , doesn’t ring a bell. But I did listen to Dr. Demento on the radio every Friday night.
There were several more to pick besides Sci Fi. Nice topic.
