Quantum of Solace

Yeah, I know I'm late to the party but I just watched this last night and there were some things that I really liked and some things that I didn't. First the good; Daniel Craig is fricking fantastic as Bond. Hands down he's the best Bond IMHO. Judy Dench yet again was great as "M" and I really like the actor who plays Felix Leiter. All of them turned in really good performances. I also really liked the story dealing with Bond's inner turmoil and how he finally dealt with it and overcame it.
Now the bad; The story with the industrialist Eco-terrorist was just lame. So this guy goes through all these elaborate political plans and machinations to control the water supply of Third World countries? Oh, and how was the audience supposed to believe that this wimpy looking bad guy would be able to give Bond such a tough fight near the end of the film? Throughout the entire film you see him run away from the fighting and relying on his henchmen to do the fighting and now all of the sudden he's a deadly expert with an axe? Give me a break. The opening theme song also sucked big time.
This movie was still pretty good but definitely a couple of levels below Casino Royale IMHO.
