been looking for a truck for about 3 months now. GM has some great incentives right now on left over 2008's, so the time is right. they come in priced just over a good used 2006 or newer. two color choices:

The Tangier Orange is ,well, just orange - and different. We are just not sure we can live with it for 5+ years.
The Dark Cherry Metallic looks dark cherry/burgandy in the sunlight, almost black in darkness, and plum under flourescent lights.
Thoughts?
We put money down and signed a contract tonight, will go back tomorrow to finish finance, etc. So need your thoughts fast. ;)

I'd go with the burgandy

If it was a work truck (like for construction) I would get the orange. Seeing as you are not doing construction, I'd go with the Burgandy.

the Orange makes it look lile you work for CALDOT
4X or 2X.....I guess 4X is not that necessary out in Cali, so if 2X you'll save some gas

I also prefer the burgundy.
What the hell is CALDOT Buff?

i don't know, i like the orange one ... however, I owned a bright yellow car for 4 years, so you might want to take that recommendation with a grain of salt.

Yellow belongs on taxis and school buses and that's it. ;-)

Not even. Ferraris, Porsches and Lamborghinis look much better in black, red or silver. Not yellow.

We used to variously call our car the "short bus" or the "taxi" - depending on how we felt that day.
This is the day a tree fell on it ...

Hehe, even worse! Isn't diesel still a bit more expensive than gas right now?

diesel is a bit more, but mpg is better with a diesel than a gas truck. diesel will also last longer, we will likely have this truck for 5+ years.
and yes, the used cooking oil works as well, just have to get it all set up.
