Watched the Watchmen Directors cut over holiday

Post by Buffalo Six »

and because I didnt see it in the theaters, I was dang impressed. The story was a bit dark....ok really dark but it really filled out the back story a lot on all the watchmen. I'll be picking up this dvd when it comes out.

Also watched the new Transformer movie....while I liked it, it was a bit over the top.

Hope all had a good 4th!

To much goofiness and cheese in transformers 2; i did like it too though... something about huge sentient robots savagely destroying each other. Bay may still get my foot square up his ass by the end of the third movie though...

!
That's really odd because Michael Bay films aren't known for being over the top. PDT_Armataz_01_18

Last week one of my friends was blasting it for the way the traveled from Jordan to Egypt so quickly. Like giant sentient alien robots were realistic. As if we want to watch them walk to Egypt in real-time. If anything, the jive-talking chevys were the only really annoying thing to me.

I saw Watchmen in a theater and was pretty impressed (and didn't even mind the changes). I'm sure the expanded version will be even more impressive. Buff, did it have the Black Freighter stuff?

no this one didnt have that in it, where my bro got a DVD quality directors cut I dont even want to ask, but I know hes friends with a dude that does CGI stuff for the movies (My brothers face is in Get Smart, one of the agent profile screens), but he said that one wont be out of production until right at press time....so who knows

even without all that its still like 3 1/2 hours long......cant imagine how longer it would be with the Black Freighter stuff also.......

Watchmen was alright. The only thing I had a problem with Watchmen was , that character that had his schlong swinging. -- Oh Come On! -- If I wanted to see some cock and balls I would have said Please and Thank You!

Yeah never mind me , Im just horsing around.. : )

I'll most likely get Watchmen on Blu-ray. It's one of those movies that I think would be best viewed in BR.
