Anyone pick up on that. I just saw it this week , and also noticed the program change. They were actually playing science fiction movies during the day instead of Tales from the Dark Side. But Wait ! , Tales From the Dark Side will be back on Wednesday! Who in the heck likes that program anyway. It’s so…. Damn old and stupid! I didn’t care for Dark angel either. Bah!

They ought to fill in the blanks with some Star Trek , Babylon 5 , Space: Above and Beyond , Lost In Space , Night Gallery , Anything ! , besides Farscape or Beauty and the Beast. Come on now…


The new SyFy web site also has some playable Web Browser Games there for you people at the office with nothing better to do. So , Peter! Um yeah ,… I’m going to need those TPS reports this weekend , ummm K. Thanks

The only show I'll be watching on that network is "Caprica" and that wont be starting until next year. Sigh.

Sorely disappointed in Scifi's cheapness. Given what they've done, this is well below their standards. Still, I may watch Caprica on Panzer's recommendation.

SciFi lost it when they added 'wrestling' to their line up.

I guarantee that if you watch the 2 hour pilot for Caprica, you wont be disappointed.

whats wrong with Farscape I liked it and at least its science fiction.

I plan on watching Farscape some day soon.

Although I never really watch Farscape much , I found out that the new members of SG1 encluding Cam Mitchell and Vala Mal Doran came from there.

The one I may have been trying to think of , could have been First Wave -or- Sanctuary maybe ?? It just looked real obsurd. lol , but some people like that. And yeah I never really got into Dr Who. I just didn’t seem realistic enough. Kudos.. O_o I’ve started watching Warehouse 13 this last week. It’s okay… I wonder who’s hacking the warehouse? Also Eureka came out with a new season.

doctor who is classic British humor and such in a sci fi show so unless you enjoy British humor then you are out of luck. Hell remember red dawarf same thing British humor in a sci fi show. Mind you that was pure comedy show dr who is serious with comedy built in.

I tried to get into the new Dr. Who but just couldn't. There's too much tongue-in-cheek aspect in it for my tastes.

There's plenty of British humor that I like such as Monty Python, Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Mr. Bean and even some Benny Hill.

The only problem I've had with the new Dr Who stuff is the incidental music (not the theme song, that's a classic) throughout the episodes. Some scenes would have so much more dramatic impact if they'd just leave out the all too often overwrought and/or cheesy music. Otherwise, they've told some really good stories. That one with Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper, featuring the 'last' Dalek was an instant classic. So was the one with Madame Pompadour and those clockwork guys, with David Tennant as the Doctor.

I'm currently watching through the original Dr. Who episodes. Very cheesy, but still entertaining.

When you say "original" episodes which ones are you referring to specifically? The ones with Tom Baker as the Doctor?

I use to watch The Benny Hill Show all the time. My favorite part of the show was the ending chase. I guess there’s something about lots of woman in bikinis chasing one lucky guy that appealed to me.


I cant say I remember the Red Dwarf , but I do remember the Ice Pirates. One of the only space comedies I liked. Wasn’t it the Ice Pirates movie that had mention of The Blue Star! . ( Ahhhhhhh… ) Or was that some other movie…. ? I dunno , maybe it was.


Also , I think I saw Number Six from Battlestar Galactica in the new SyFy Warehouse 13 series. Although she’s not as good looking as Seven of Nine. A smoking hot borg from Star Trek Voyager. Oh!

Yes, Tricia Helfer did make an appearance on Warehouse 13. She's been quite busy since BSG ended. She also made a guest appearance on Chuck.

The series I am currently watching is: "The War Games" Part 1 and Part 2, Episodes 1-10 (BBC). These are episodes from the Patrick Troughton years, 1966-69.

Ah ok, cool. If I remember correctly I think Dr. Who started off as a movie starring Peter Cushing as the Doctor.
