Has anyone checked this game out? I want to fly (something other than a F-16). Sorry I forgot to post a link to the website. http://www.yankeeairpirate.net/

The last combat flight sim I bought was IL-2. The last one I bought and actually played was Red Baron 2.

Jet engines are scary!

YAP2 is based IIRC on the WoV sim and is basically a huge mod pack for that Sim. I dont know if it has a multi player part. What it does do is take real actual missions from the Vietnam air war and put you in the middle of it. Strike the Bon Giap bridge....your there. "Duke" Cunningham's furbal where he made ace...your there. Linebacker escorts and SEAD, your there. Sadly I believe the over all game engine is weak. At least thats how I remember WoV when I played it.

it is great for single player - any of the series is. but for MP they do nto work well. only instant action type of games for MP.

I concur. I've played quite a bit of the TK sims online with Jedi and not only is it limited to instant action type missions, you cant even modify your combat load out. I understand that the TK sims are made by basically a one man team but it still sucks that MP was an after-thought.
