District 9 (8/14/09)

Post by Softball »

I saw the Midnight show of District 9. In one word: "BRILLIANT!"

I absolutely LOVED everything about this movie. IMO, District 9 will make enough of an impact to surpass Star Trek as the Blockbuster of the year. As I sit here at 2:30am, I am still in awe from this movie. Peter Jackson has outdone himself...again. I'm 99.99% positive there will be another movie, it was left wide open for a sequel. It will most likely be called District 10, you'll understand why when you see District 9.

I highly recommend seeing this movie....it is frakking fantastic!

SB out.

One question: at any point in the film are there large quadrupeds with people running between their legs?

I wouldn't call it a review, I just didn't want to spoil the movie for anyone by writing details about the movie. After sleeping on it for the night, I am still in awe of how great the movie is/was. I'm probably going to see it again this weekend.
