Paranormal Activity (movie)

I just watched this tonight.

What a load of overhyped crap. Scary? Please, give me a break.

The movie was basically a one trick pony when it came to scare tactics. The movie took FOREVER to get going and I feel like the first 107 minutes of the film was simply meant to be filler for the final 2 minutes where the film finally became mildly interesting.

I wasn't scared one bit by this movie and I demand my money back.

Don't you just hate that?

The last movie I saw that I thought was thoroughly disappointing was "Transformers 2." Very bad acting and lots of holes and WTF moments. "Bruno" was a close second, it was horrible.

O come on you actually had high expectations for transformers 2 besieds some good robot on robot fight scans. TF2 was to watch robot fights, thats it end of story PDT_Armataz_01_12 if that disappointed you then you expected to much

I see what you're saying but even by comparison I thought Transformers 2 wasn't as good as the first Transformers. At least the first movie had some vestige of a plot and the action wasn't as overblown and exaggerated like the action sequences in the sequel.

I couldn't even make it through the first one. But then again, I've never been a big Transformers fan as I was already too old for them when the toys came out - in 1984 guitars, night clubs, and wild women were on my mind.

I remember my nephews having a few of the toys - I remember a couple that turned into cassette tape looking doohickeys. And of course I remember the Jetfire toy that was really a Valkyrie from the Macross Saga.

Anyway, I couldn't watch the movie. Haven't seen Paranormal Activity yet, but I've heard it's kinda like 'The Blair Witch Project' but not as effective due to everyone already knowing it's all made up.

What's funny is that I actually ended up paying more attention to the boobs of the main girl in the movie than to anything else.

They need to kill that bitch off. She's a bitch. Bay created a dirty rotten snatch monster. Then Bay needs to get hit by a bus so we can find a good director for the movies... that moron is a moron.

How's this for profit margin? The production budget for "Paranormal Activity" was about 20k. So far its made about 62 million at the US box office.

I guess every single fricking teenager in the US has gone to see it.

I watched this last night and I thought it was decent. There were some slow scenes, but everytime the camera was on in the bedroom, I was waiting anxiously to see what would happen next. The footprints and the baby powder was FREAKY! I have to admit, the movie had me on the edge of my seat. The ending...kinda cheesy, but hey, it's a movie, right...? For me, it was somewhat believable. *shrug*

For me it was quite simple. I went to see a horror movie and it completely failed to scare me in any way. I lost track of how many times I rolled my eyes and looked at my wristwatch.

I went into it with the thought that it was a true story, made it a much better movie experience.

Well, whether I went in thinking it was fact or fiction, it failed to scare me either way!

LOL You actually lasted 5 minutes? I stopped it after about 1 minute regardless of the hot babe in underwear.
