well, i got a 5870 today. free sample! woohoo!

now i have to decide if i should change out my mainboard as well. i currently have:

intel x3370 cpu and an intel dp45sg mainboard

i have available:

budapest 1356 cpu and an asus m2n-e sli mainboard

my guess is that i am fine just sticking with what i have. thoughts?

My only thought is what FSB speed can that chip handle. If its more thne your ram/MB can handle you got a bottle neck else have fun as is

definitely be sticking with the Intel stuff. 12MB level 2 cache on a 3GHz quad core cpu.

next step will be windows 7 at some point.
